Advantages and link between NDVI and yield maps

The satellite images are a tool for remote monitoring of crops and are often used in modern agriculture because they bring extremely useful information about the entire farm.
With the help of the vegetation index (NDVI), each farmer has the opportunity to identify various changes that occur in the field during the crop development period. The collected data can identify areas according to their productivity, determine the extent of losses caused by a pathogen or enemy, and locate places with imminent drought or too much water.
What advantages does the vegetation index (NDVI) offer to us?
It helps us to be able to estimate the harvest we can get from a certain plot. Unlike production maps, which we have after harvest, we already have access to satellite images while the crops are developing. This allows us to react as soon as we notice interrumptions and prevent potential losses.
I have selected an interesting example, where the dependence between the two maps is obvious.
